Ruger American Ranch Gen II: Compact Capability in .223 Remington

Meet the Ruger American Ranch Gen II .223 Rem 16", a compact bolt-action rifle that brings practical handling and modern Gen II refinements to the field and range.

Chambered in .223 Remington and supplied with a 10-round detachable magazine, the Ranch Gen II is built around a 16.1-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with spiral fluting, a threaded muzzle and factory muzzle brake. The result is a versatile platform with a practical size and features designed for confident, controlled shooting.

The Cobalt Cerakote metal finish adds protection against the elements, while the Flat Dark Earth stock with black splatter texture gives the rifle a distinctive look. Ruger’s Generation II upgrades include a three-position tang safety, three-lug bolt with a 70-degree throw, adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger and an integral Picatinny scope base.

With adjustable length of pull and comb height, the stock can be configured to suit different shooters and optics setups. Whether you’re looking for a capable .223 Remington rifle for the range or a compact platform for field use, the Ruger American Ranch Gen II is a strong new addition to the Barry & Son range.
