Trail Boss Smokeless Pistol Propellant Powder

Trail Boss is designed specifically for low velocity lead bullet loads for Single Action shooting. It is based on a whole new technology which allows very high loading density, good flow through powder measures, stability in regard to temperature variation and most importantly, additional safety for the handloader.

ADI offers a complete range of burning rates, from fast-burning handgun/shotgun powders to very slow large-calibre rifle powders.

• Shotgun powders: Double-base disc powders for 12, 20, and 28 gauge. Exceptionally clean burning across a wide range of loads.
• Handgun powders: Small-diameter disc powders for uniform metering. Faster ones are double-base (higher energy); slower ones are single-base (heavy loads). All clean burning when loaded correctly.
• Rifle powders: Single-base, single-perforated tubular propellants. Feature ballistic temperature independence (stable velocity/pressure in extreme conditions — a key advantage over competitors). Good bulk density, uniform metering, and very clean burning at standard loads.
• Trail Boss: Single-base disc powder with central hole (distinctive appearance). Designed to fill excessive case space for more consistent ballistics and improved safety.

All ADI powders are classified UN 1.3C (mass fire risk) and packaged in 500 g, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2 kg or 4 kg containers (varies by type).
